Yes, that is the purpose of 'education', utilizing info to solve problems.
Just becuase people have the info, don't mean they can utilize it,see dweller nation for Prime examples. They where all where educated in basic math
make bigoted racial remarks to support your position.
Do you really believe people wouldn't have the same opinions if mexico or wherever was full of white people. Flash back 100 years and people had the same feelings about getting over run with irish & italian immigrants. They had nicknames for them also. Beaners, wops or some name will always be thrown around.

Mexico Just Says No to Funky Baby Names
Sunday , July 02, 2006
Associated Press
Oh baby! You can make it, carry it around for nine months and bring it onto the planet whenever, wherever and with whomever you’d like (theoretically, at least), but when it comes to naming it, one Mexican state says you’d better say adios to your favorite funky baby names.
Authorities in the state of Chihuahua are enforcing a new set of rules — extremely specific rules at that — on what the baby-makers can call their kiddos, KVIA reports.
It seems the state was displeased with a rash of tots running around with odd, creative and foreign names, so it decided to issue a reminder of what’s considered appropriate and what isn’t.
Among the names deemed “improper” by the state are Lluvia, which means rain, Azul, which means blue and Kevin, which means … well, who knows.
The rules dictate that if parents must name their child a foreign-sounding name, then it has to be followed by a Spanish middle name, like Maria.
And there’s more.
Parents who dare to be different by tricking up the spelling of a name better think twice — only “common spellings” are going to fly.
But bewildered baby-namers should know: the government insists it's not out to steal their moniker-making thunder, rather they’re just trying to prevent the kids from a lifetime of ridicule and legal troubles.
:? ...hmmph...
Wonder if this will carry over to the Black Community?

Mexico Just Says No to Funky Baby Names
It sounds like Mexico is the place to live. They don't let forgeigners take their jobs or buy beachfront property and require people to have normal names. They probably don't even put up with people messing up their lauguage like the ebonics bunch does to the american version of english.
They probably don't let corperations destroy their lauguage either like the fast food joints have renamed sizes.
If you want a small, you need to ask for a medium, the medium is the small and not the middle size,it's the small size and if you want a medium size you need to ask for a large, which isn't really a large,it's a medium because it's in the middle of the other 2 sizes they sell.
One asshole told me they didn't sell small pizza's, just medium and large. I have no idea what the medium was in the middle of,but if that was the smallest one they had,I said I would take the smaller one only to be informed they didn't have small pizza's. So in order to be feed by the moron,I ordered the medium which was the smallest size they had.

Get A Load of This One! Soldiers Celebrate Fourth of July as New U.S. Citizens
Tuesday , July 04, 2006
Associated Press
BAGRAM, Afghanistan — They were soldiers from 21 different countries. But at the end of a short ceremony Tuesday at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, they pledged allegiance to only one: America.
Raising their right hands, 26 young soldiers took an oath and became new American citizens during a naturalization ceremony held at the main U.S. military base north of Kabul.
"It is so fitting that today on the Fourth of July, when we celebrate our nation's birthday, that we would take the time ... and have 26 fellow soldiers join us as fellow American soldiers," said Maj. Gen. Benjamin C. Freakley, the U.S. operational commander in Afghanistan, who attended the ceremony.
Under a fast-track law enacted in 2004, soldiers on active duty in the U.S. military are automatically eligible for citizenship. Normally, obtaining citizenship is a lengthy process that can run three to five years.
"It's wonderful to see our soldiers get the benefit of citizenship," said Pamela Hutchings, an officer with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services who flew in from Pakistan to administer the oaths.
About 7,000 soldiers have become citizens under the fast-track program, according to the immigration service.
On this day, there were soldiers from countries across the globe — Mexico, Kenya, Zambia, Bosnia-Herzogovina, Kenya, Zambia, and even Afghanistan.
Specialist Ahmad John, 27, originally from Kabul but now hailing from Los Angeles, California, said he has been dreaming of this day for years.
"I feel great. I will be an American citizen. Since I was 10 years old, I had a dream that one day in America, I would be a citizen," he said.
John, a military linguist who speaks Dari, Pashto and Arabic, said he believes his skills are serving two nations.
"I'm a citizen of America but I'm Afghanistan-born. I come back and I serve my motherland country and protect my homeland," he said.
For Pfc. Joyce Nanquil, 20, of Temecula, California, getting naturalized was doubly meaningful because her older brother Alfer Nanquil, who is serving in Iraq, is also getting his citizenship the same day.
Originally from the Philippines, Nanquil said she and her brother are the last in their family to become Americans.
"I feel really great. Our family supported us joining the military and they are really proud of us. We were the last ones to get citizenship," she said.

Looks like the Army got some new US issue today. Hopefully they will get a chance to see their new country.
I'm taking a load to juarez Mexico today. Actually dropping the trailer in El Paso and riding with some guy to Juarez so I can unload it. They don't know how to unload CO2. So I'll get a chance to see my new brothers and sisters.

It seems they have a little problem with the presidentail election in tacoland, the consertive is claiming victory at the moment because the count was barely in his favor and El'goro is calling for a recount.
What if a civil war breaks out and millions of them return home to fight with their brothers ? Businesses will have to offer people a decent wage and raise prices. Poor Biff & Muffy might have to put off getting a plasma TV for a few weeks

Middle Class Swamped By Illegal Immigration
Middle Class Swamped By Illegal Immigration
It should be no surprise that the "open letter to President Bush and Congress" referenced in your June 20 editorial "Immigration Consensus," signed mostly by the usual lefty academics, will fail to convince the vast majority of middle-class Americans that they should support open borders and "free movement" of labor.
The open letter reads, "While a small percentage of native-born Americans may be harmed by immigration, vastly more Americans benefit from the contributions that immigrants make to the economy. . . ." Perhaps they should ask the 15% of unemployed workers who have less than a high-school education how they feel about being such a small, trivial group. The letter also says, "Legitimate concerns about the impact of immigration on the poorest Americans should not be addressed by penalizing even poorer immigrants." A more honest sentence would have read, "The stupid middle-class yokels should be thrilled to spend oodles of their tax money on importing low wage workers for big business while our poorest citizens continue to suffer under unemployment." And for its final offense, the open letter says "immigration of low-skilled workers may have lowered the wages of domestic low-skilled workers, but the effect is likely to have been small . . . from eight percent to as little as zero percent." I wonder how many CEOs would ignore an 8% decrease in their bottom line and a decimation of their company's ability to compete.
The heart of this argument asserts that "Overall, immigration has been a net gain for American citizens, though a modest one." This conclusion is probably true for the CEO who cut labor costs and is rewarded with a million-dollar bonus that is used to hire illegal aliens as gardeners, maids and nannies. Meanwhile average Americans are forced to watch their schools deteriorate under the burden of educating millions of illegal aliens, their hospital emergency rooms close, and a third of their jails fill with illegal aliens while they are endlessly taxed to sustain these social ills. These average Americans see in their own lives what these economists consistently fail to comprehend from all their "research" and "analysis": Illegal immigration is killing the middle class and overwhelming their communities. These same common-sense Americans will continue to oppose amnesty and open borders no matter how many free lunches economists say are at the illegal immigration picnic.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R., Calif.)
zigzag- 07-05-2006
Reagan insisted that the magnet attracting illegal aliens to the United States be removed by extinguishing any incentive for U.S. employers to hire illegal aliens. In tandem with the amnesty, Reagan campaigned for employer sanctions for hiring illegal aliens, sanctions so stringent that many at the time regarded them as draconian.
Reagan reasoned that if an employer were fined for hiring an illegal alien (as much as $1 million in the worst cases), any payroll savings achieved by the hiring would be wiped out by the fine. In effect, it would be more expensive to hire illegal aliens than to hire Americans or lawful permanent residents. The few illegal aliens who continued to take the gamble and cross the border would be intercepted by a robust and more generously funded Border Patrol.
(Failure) is attributed to Sen. Ted Kennedy’s eventual gutting of the enforcement mechanism for Reagan's employer sanctions, and successive administrations refusing to give our Border Patrol the resources it needs to achieve its mission.
Old crazy Ted was flapping his lips about minimum wage after allowing wages to be driven down by a flood of illegals

Yeh, right! Reagan was going to punish all his farmer buddies in California.
Just because he and Nancy made an international crusade out of attacking the lifestyle of truckdrivers, doesn't mean he didn't want to see us get our trucks loaded.

Arrived in the U.S.: 1992.
What do you do here? Owner of Dayvett's, a boutique in Fair Haven.
Why did you come here? I thought I could come here to make more money than in our country.
And did you? Thanks to God, yes. It's much better than I thought. I never thought I'd have my own business, my own home.
What's the worst thing about America? The discrimination.
Who do you support in the upcoming presidential election in Mexico? I never pay attention to those things. I think all politicians are the same.
Do you think NAFTA has helped or hurt? For me it wasn't good, because I had a clothes factory behind my shop in New York. After NAFTA, the prices went down and we couldn't pay our rent and I had to close the business. They shipped our jobs to other countries, like Mexico.http://www.newhavenadvocate.com/gbase/News/content?oid=oid:159953

NEW HAVEN - After some confusion among police about the city's long-standing practice of not reporting illegal immigrants to federal authorities, Mayor John DeStefano Jr. is having legal counsel look to put such a policy in writing.
DeStefano and Police Chief Francisco Ortiz have long encouraged immigrants to not be afraid to report incidents of crime because the city did not intend to report their status.
Being an illegal immigrant is a civil violation, but not a crime.
"As I understand the law, in the case of a civil violation, we do not have an obligation to go any further with it," DeStefano said.
A total of 68 cities and state governments have declined to enforce federal civil immigration violations as counterproductive to community policing, where the safety of residents and a good working relationship is of paramount importance. In a much-publicized effort last year by Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, Gov. M. Jodie Rell rejected a request to deputize state troopers to enforce immigration violations after police brass said they would be hard-pressed to handle the extra duties, which were better left to federal authorities.
DeStefano wants to be govenor of CT.
Late Sunday night, a man was wounded in the neck in an apparent drive-by shooting on Capitol Avenue, police said.
A total of 19 people have been shot since May 24. That number includes three fatalities. A 15-year-old boy was killed on May 28 as he stood on his front porch. His 14-year-old friend was critically injured.
According to Hartford Police, there have been 13 homicides in the city since Jan. 1, compared with 25 last year and 17 in 2004.
Green said he believes the violence is not related to drugs, but rather societal problems such as poverty, discrimination, a desire for instant gratification among young people and a lack of intact families.
CT's liberals are doing wonders to help out the people at the bottom
